my 87 Daytona, weird build

I started doing time trial with this car, and realized that I WANT MORE POWER!
Getting passsed by a 88 rx-7 turbo...and not even being able to keep up.... :05

So the car is undergoing serious changes:
Engine bay:
new fully rebuilt 90cb 2.5...with oil cooler.
90 c/s's old top end with turbop and all.
4 puck clutch
A555 with the moly plate, and limited slip diff (i might have some of the terminology wrong) from Scotts in Edmonton
Relocating battery to inside the car.

Suspension:
Eibach springs, with Kyb shocks (i got a real good deal on the shock brand new)
Strut Tower bar
rear in car sock tower stabilizer bar
adjustable rear sabalizer bar (the thing that ties the back end into the body)
and hopefully, if money allows, front camber plates

Also hoping to go to 16x7 rims, with 245 semi compound tires.(berreta GTZ rims) If anyone knows of any for sale, please let me know!

Plan is to run 16psi daily, and 22 on the strip, and front straight.

Car right now:

as it sits right now, it is still gutted.

I am hoping to hav esome time to cleand the engine bay meticulously, and to redo some wiring, and wire looms. Also need to clean my IC and all the hoses of oil...and then, I can FINALLY, slap in the new powertrain.
Also awaiting to order a 4puck clutch, and also get a adj cam gear.

Car's still a work in progress......but managed to pull off a 12.9 with with cutting out issues, and backing off 3/4 way down the track.

A bit more things going in over the next week, like catch can, water/meth injection, chamber plates, etc.

yup. I still was spinning them all the way through 1st :01

I fixed the cutting out issue, which also fixed the high egt issue....go figure. Ended up being my condensor thingy that is on the pos of the coil. I put it back, and the car started driving normal again.

UPDATE: the car started burning oil at idle, sporatically, whenever it wants but only after the engine warmed up (and it would puff once in at start up as it started up)....head and turbo are now removed. turbo looks great, no sign at all of oil seals gone. no oil residue, or anything on the hot or cold side. no oil in the pipes...but, i'm seeing oil inside the exhaust manifold in 2 out of the 4 runners :19

What are the details on the cylinder head? Has it been rebuilt at all? Could be bad valve seals or valve guides. I've seen piston rings get stuck in the ring groove and cause issues like this.

I would bet its the valve seal are leaking, they get brittle after time and rubber/oil dont mix very well after time. This is a common issue on small block chev's.try looking at the the valve stem where it pops out of the head between the spring and maybe just the valve seal poped off and is just riding on the valve????good luck keep us posted.
Remove the warning lebls off of everything and let the problem solve itself

heads only got 7000km on it. Ripped it appart, and here's the damage: 2 busted valve guides...probabily from when I had a slight misshap at the track andf had my waste gate can line, and map line blow off, and I maxxed out my tach...

Another issue I found, (prob because of excessive blow by..I'm fixing that now too, and mounting a moroso catchcan) oil was seeping out of 2 or 3 intake manifold bolts and managed to make itself a path into the intake side of the head.

I''m thinking a new intake/exhaust gasket, and thread sealer on the intake many bolts, should fix this issue.
I' also dropped off the head to fix the 2 valve guides that had excessive play.
